DDA's Employment workshop May 6 6:30pm

A quick reminder of our next in person meeting, on Wednesday May 6th at 6:30pm. No RSVP required for this meeting, so please come even if you have not yet replied. Our topic is Employment, both paid and volunteer. We are lucky to have two great speakers and of course Yuko, Angela and I will also be there to throw in our two bits. As always our families learn so much from each other, no matter what topic we are learning about.

Leanne Gratton is an employment specialist at Jobs West, DDA. She will tell us about supported employment and the DDA social enterprise program, Starworks. David Webster is also a supportive employment specialist at PosAbilities. He will focus on supportive services, job club and certificate trainings. We look forward to interesting presentations and a lively discussion on this incredibly important area.

See you there, Liz and Yuko
