The whole Expo story started with Max's empty birthday party. A negative event that happens more often than we would like but we took this opportunity to change our little corner of the world.
The Maximum Impact Party (aka Max Party) history
With the success and popularity of the Max Party, a thought emerged, what if we could impact the neurodivergent community in a different way. At school, the parents frequently are advocating for resources and connecting with parents who are new to the neurodivergent community. What if we could more effectively connect, share and learn from each other?
The combined teams of the staff of DDA, the Complete Planning Alliance, parent and guardian volunteers brought you the first neurodivergent expo in Vancouver's history. something desperately needed by the community. The first expo was such a success, our teams are planning on how to improve for next year. Check back for updates on the 2027 expo.
